What Dimensional Leap Does

Dimensional Leap is the fastest movement passive in the game, with three effects in one rank 5 slot:

  • Movement Speed +50% — the biggest speed boost of any passive, ahead of Swift (+30%), Runner (+20%), and Nimble (+10%).
  • Hunger drains 15% faster — barely noticeable on a mount that spends its time being ridden.
  • World Tree harvestables won't vanish when approached — the ghostly trees and ore nodes inside the World Tree normally crumble as you get close. The effect covers both the Pal and its trainer.

How to Get It

No Pal has Dimensional Leap by default, and it isn't in the normal wild-passive pool — it's one of the seven World Tree exclusive passives. There are two ways to get it:

  • Wild World Tree Pals. Pals that spawn inside the World Tree can randomly roll World Tree exclusive passives, Dimensional Leap among them. It's a lucky find rather than a farmable source, but check the passives of anything you catch there. Yakumo's Birds of a Feather partner skill can't speed this up — it only boosts passives from the regular wild pool, which excludes all World Tree passives.
  • The disposable implant. Disposable Implant: Dimensional Leap teaches Dimensional Leap at the Pal Surgery Table — the surgery itself is free, but the implant is consumed.

The implant comes from the Ancient Relic Recycler : every recycle of an Ancient Relic — any grade, including cheap Decayed ones — rolls exactly one disposable implant from a 16-implant pool, so Dimensional Leap lands at 6.25% per recycle. And since the implant is one-and-done, finish breeding, rank-ups, and IVs before you spend it. See the Ancient Relics guide for the full reward tables, the implants guide for how surgery works, and the best passive skills guide for how it fits a four-slot build.

Tips

  • The ultimate mount core. Movement passives stack: Dimensional Leap + Swift + Runner + Nimble totals +110% movement speed — the fastest build a mount can run.
  • Trade a slot for stamina if you sprint everywhere. Dropping Nimble for Eternal Engine (+75% stamina) costs 10% speed but roughly doubles how long you can hold the sprint key.
  • It earns its keep in the World Tree. On the mount you already ride, the decay immunity means every ghostly tree and ore node you pass is harvestable — no dedicated harvest Pal needed.
  • Feed it and forget it. The +15% hunger drain is the mildest downside of the World Tree set — top the mount up before long trips and it never becomes noticeable.
