What Farmhand Does

Farmhand raises the Pal's Farming work suitability by +1 rank. Farming rank governs ranch production, so a ranch Pal with Farmhand produces its goods noticeably faster — wool, eggs, milk, gold, whatever its partner skill drops. The bigger version is Ranch Master (+2).

It's dead weight on anything that doesn't work a ranch, but on dedicated producers it's one of the few ways to push output past the species' natural cap — suitability ranks are otherwise fixed per species.

How to Get It

Farmhand isn't on the surgery menu and has no implant — it only rolls on wild Pals. Catch a carrier or breed it into your ranch line via the Breeding Calculator.
