What Lightfooted Does

Lightfooted grants +1 ride jump: while you're riding the Pal, it can jump once more in mid-air. The bigger version is the mutation-exclusive Sky Strider (+2). An extra jump sounds small, but on a fast ground mount it converts cliff after cliff from "go around" to "hop up" — one of the best pure quality-of-life effects a mount slot can hold.

It does nothing on Pals you don't ride, and flying mounts barely notice it.

How to Get It

Lightfooted isn't on the surgery menu and has no implant — it only rolls on wild Pals, and as a rare-weight passive it's roughly 20× less likely than a common one. When a catch turns up with it, treasure it: breed it into your mount line via the Breeding Calculator. If you'd rather farm the bigger effect, Sky Strider has a Glistening-relic implant — Lightfooted does not.
