What the Alpha Wave Generator Does

The Alpha Wave Generator emits relaxing alpha waves that slow the rate at which your base pals' SAN (sanity) value decreases. SAN drops as pals work; when it gets low, pals become stressed, slack off, and can fall ill. Slowing that drain keeps your workforce productive for longer without intervention. Like the work-speed boosters, it's fully passive — no power, no assigned pal, just place it anywhere in the base radius.

How to Use It

• Unlocked at level 41 in the technology tree for 3 technology points.
• Build exactly one per base. As the in-game description says, placing more than one has no additional effect.
• It must be placed within your base's radius to count.
• It slows SAN loss but doesn't restore it — recovery still happens through rest, food, and structures like the Hot Spring or High Quality Hot Spring.

Tips

The Alpha Wave Generator earns its keep at bases where pals work hard around the clock — think assembly lines or breeding-cake kitchens. It's especially worth building alongside the Beta Wave Generator: faster-working pals burn through their needs quicker, so pairing the work-speed boost with slower SAN drain keeps the base self-sustaining. Fewer stressed pals also means less demand on your medicine supply and the Witch Cauldron that produces it.
