What the Flame Cauldron Does

The Flame Cauldron is a passive efficiency structure: while one is placed in your base, all kindling work at that base is faster. It doesn't need power, doesn't need a pal assigned to it, and doesn't need to sit next to your furnaces — simply having it anywhere in the base radius applies the bonus.

How to Use It

• Unlocked at level 21 in the technology tree for 2 technology points.
• Build exactly one per base. As the in-game description says, placing more than one has no additional effect.
• It must be placed within your base's radius to count.
• Kindling powers your smelting and cooking — from the Primitive and Improved Furnace to campfire and cooking-pot recipes.

Tips

The Flame Cauldron is one of a family of one-per-base efficiency boosters, each covering a different work type. Ingot smelting is a bottleneck for most of the mid game, so a base built around furnaces gets excellent value here — especially combined with the Mining Cart keeping the ore flowing in. Cooking-heavy bases pair it well with the Snowman, which speeds up the cooling work that keeps all that food fresh.
