What the Pal Pod Does
The Pal Pod is the top tier of the standard pal bed line. Base pals sleep in it at night and retreat to it when injured, and its advanced healing technology recovers their HP far faster than any conventional bed — twice the rate of the Large Pal Bed it supersedes.
How to Use It
- Every working pal at a base needs a bed to sleep in — build enough pods for your full roster.
- It consumes no power, so healing continues even if your grid goes down.
- It's a late-game build: Pal Metal Ingots, Cryogenic Coolant, and Computers all come from advanced production chains.

The bed line steps up like this:
- Straw Pal Bed — 1.5 HP/s, 0.05 SAN/s
- Fluffy Pal Bed — 2.5 HP/s, 0.1 SAN/s
- Large Pal Bed — 5 HP/s, 0.15 SAN/s
- Pal Pod — 10 HP/s, 0.2 SAN/s
- Ancient Pal Bed — 10 HP/s, 0.5 SAN/s
The Ancient Pal Bed matches the Pal Pod's HP recovery but restores SAN two and a half times faster, making it the better pick for high-stress production bases if you can afford it. For pure healing throughput, the two are equal.
