What the Yakumo Statue Is

The Yakumo Statue is a decorative stone guardian-dog statue with no gameplay effect — it's built purely for atmosphere. Unlike most structures, it isn't unlocked through the technology tree: you need to find the Yakumo Statue Schematic before it appears in your build menu.

How to Use It

• Once the schematic is in hand, it builds from plain Stone — 70 of it — so the cost is trivial.
• Being solid stone, it shrugs off fire; it's a safe decoration even for bases that see combat or use fire-type workers.

Tips

Guardian-dog statues are traditionally placed in pairs flanking a gate or shrine entrance — build two and frame your base's front door. It pairs naturally with the Japanese Floor Cushion and other Japanese-style pieces if you're going for a full shrine build.
