What the Depresso Effigy Does

A statuette of Depresso, added at the game's v1.0 launch. Offered at the Statue of Power, it enhances your Status Resistance — you become less prone to status conditions. The track runs 20 ranks at 1 effigy each, +2.5% per rank up to +50% at rank 20. Yes, the perpetually miserable pal guards the stat that keeps ailments off you.

Where to Find Them

All 30 Depresso Effigies sit in one region: the Loess Plains of Terraria. With 30 available and 20 needed, one thorough sweep of the Plains finishes the track with room to spare. Every placement is on the interactive world map — toggle the Depresso Effigy layer.

Tips

• Late collection, immediate payoff. Terraria is endgame territory, and endgame content is exactly where status effects pile up — the region that holds the effigies is the region that makes you want them.
• Status Resistance covers you, not your pals — their ailment defenses come from their own passives and equipment.
