What the Lifmunk Effigy Does

The Lifmunk Effigy is the original effigy — the small green statue of Lifmunk that has been hidden across the world since the original early-access launch. Offering them at the Statue of Power raises your Capture Power — the base catch rate applied to every sphere you throw, from plain Pal Spheres to Exotic ones. It's a per-character enhancement: once ranked up, it applies forever, on every save the character visits.

Ranks and Costs

Capture Power runs 15 ranks and costs 100 effigies in total. The curve comes straight from the game's enhancement table: 1 effigy for rank 1, rising one at a time to 7 for rank 7, then a flat 9 per rank for the remaining eight ranks.

One honest caveat: unlike the twelve Pal Effigies, the game files don't expose Capture Power's per-rank percentage. The data table drives only the costs — the actual capture-rate multiplier is computed in the game's compiled code, and in-game you only ever see the rank gauge.

Where to Find Them

155 Lifmunk Effigies are placed in the world — 140 across the overworld regions (the Palpagos Islands, Sakurajima, Feybreak, and Terraria) and 15 more inside the World Tree. Since maxing the track needs only 100, you can miss a third of them and still finish. Every placement is plotted on the interactive world map — toggle the Lifmunk Effigy layer in the sidebar. Look for the small green glow, often on cliff ledges, rooftops, and behind waterfalls.

Tips

• Spend them as you find them. With 155 available against 100 needed, there's no reason to hoard — every early rank makes every catch cheaper in spheres.
• Build the statue early. The Statue of Power unlocks at level 9 for 20 Stone and 10 Paldium Fragments; effigies do nothing while sitting in your inventory.
• Pair Capture Power with the Lunaris Effigy's Sphere Tracking — one makes throws connect, the other makes connects stick.
