What the Mimog Effigy Does

A statuette of Mimog, added at the game's v1.0 launch. Offered at the Statue of Power, it enhances your Movement Speed — the longest enhancement track in the game at 92 ranks. Each rank adds +0.5%, reaching +45% at rank 90, +46% at rank 91, and a final jump to +50% at rank 92.

How You Get Them — Not From the World

True to Mimog's treasure-mimic nature, this is the one effigy that is never found in the world — no glowing pickup, no map markers. Instead, one "suddenly comes into your possession" each time you complete a species' capture bonus: the counter that grants bonus EXP for catching multiples of the same Pal. Fill a species' counter, receive a Mimog Effigy. You can track your first catch bonus with the Pal Tracker.

Costs: 287 to Max

Rank 1 costs a single effigy, ranks 2–79 cost 3 each, and ranks 80–92 cost 4 each — 287 Mimog Effigies in total. That means completing capture bonuses across essentially the whole Palpedia, so treat the track as a marathon that fills itself while you play.

Tips

  • Catch five of everything you meet. The habit feeds three systems at once: capture-bonus EXP, Mimog Effigies, and Palpedia completion — and the Relaxaurus Effigy's +50% EXP multiplies the first of those.
  • Remember to actually spend them. Effigies arriving automatically means they quietly pile up in your inventory; swing by the statue whenever you bank a batch.
  • Movement Speed applies on foot, so it's one of the few travel upgrades that helps inside bases, dungeons, and everywhere mounts are impractical.
