What Coward Does

Coward is a flat Attack -10% — the milder version of Pacifist (-20%) and the mirror of Brave (+10%). There's no build that wants it: on a damage dealer it's a real loss, and on base workers or ranch Pals — where attack doesn't matter — it's just a wasted slot.

How to Get Rid of It

Overwrite it at the Pal Surgery Table with any unlocked passive — even the 10,000-gold default Brave turns the slot from -10% into +10% attack, a 20-point swing, and anything stronger widens it further. Coward isn't on the surgery menu, so once overwritten it can't be re-applied — the implants guide has the full replacement list. When breeding, cull carriers early or clean up the final Pal with one surgery.
