What the Cryogenic Crusher Does

The Cryogenic Crusher is the powered, late-game upgrade to the Crusher. It runs the same conversion recipes — Wood into Fiber, Stone and Meteorite Fragments into Paldium Fragments, and Pal Souls up and down between sizes — but it works at double speed and adds two conversions the regular Crusher can't do: crushing Ore into Paldium Fragments, and recycling unwanted Pal Spheres back into Paldium Fragments.

How to Use It

• Unlocked at level 54 in the technology tree for 2 technology points.
• It needs 300 power and a pal with Cooling Lv. 1 — a change from the regular Crusher, which is worked by Watering pals.
• All of its recipes carry a built-in +100% work speed bonus, so conversions finish in half the time they would take on the regular Crusher even with an identical worker.
• Ore crushing yields 1 Paldium Fragment per 2 Ore.
• Sphere recycling pays out by sphere tier: 1 fragment for a basic Pal Sphere or Mega Sphere, 2 for a Giga, 3 for a Tera, 5 for a Master or Legendary, 10 for an Ultimate Sphere, 15 for an Exotic Sphere, and 30 for a Sol or Ancient Sphere.

Tips

Sphere recycling is the headline feature: by level 54 your storage is likely full of low-tier spheres from chests and expeditions that you'll never throw at a pal again — feed them to the crusher instead of letting them rot. Pal Soul conversion is also worth remembering: two souls of one size combine into the next size up (and a larger soul splits into two of the size below), so a stack of Small Pal Souls can become the Giant Pal Souls your Statue of Power upgrades demand.
