What the Herbil Effigy Does

A statuette of Herbil, added at the game's v1.0 launch. Offered at the Statue of Power, it enhances your Flight Capacity — glide speed goes up and stamina drains slower while gliding, both from the same track. It runs 20 ranks at 1 effigy each, +1.5% per rank up to +30% at rank 20. The percentage is the smallest of the three traversal effigies, but the stamina half of the effect is what carries it: longer glides from the same cliff, every time.

Where to Find Them

30 Herbil Effigies are placed in the world, all around Sakurajima — the Northern Rock Field, the Mushroom Wetlands, and the area around the Dancing Sakura Shrine. With 30 available and 20 needed, you can miss a third. Every placement is on the interactive world map — toggle the Herbil Effigy layer.

Tips

  • Best value before flying mounts. Gliding is your main descent tool for the first few dozen hours; ranking this early stretches every jump. Its value fades once you live on a flying mount, so grab it on your first Sakurajima trip rather than saving it for later.
  • It's one of three traversal effigies — the Pengullet Effigy covers swimming and the Tanzee Effigy covers climbing.
