What This Implant Unlocks

Implant: Burly Body is a permanent unlock. It lives in your Key Items — it can't be dropped, sold, or consumed — and as long as you own it, Burly Body can be applied to any Pal at the Pal Surgery Table . Each surgery costs 50,000 gold, but the implant itself never runs out: buy once, apply forever.

Burly Body is Defense +20% plus flinch immunity — the Pal's attacks and animations can't be interrupted by incoming hits. It sits between Hard Skin (+10%, free at the table) and Diamond Body (+30% with flinch and knockback immunity, disposable implant only), which makes this implant the strongest defensive passive you can re-apply on demand. It's a staple on tanks, raid anchors, and as the safety net under glass-cannon attack builds.

Where to Buy It

The bounty merchant sells this implant for 15 Successful Bounty Tokens as a one-time purchase. Successful Bounty Tokens are earned by defeating bounty targets and turning the proof in to a Vigilante Bounty Officer in villages and towns. Tips

• The flinch immunity is the point. On a Pal that channels long attack animations, uninterrupted casts are often worth more than the raw +20%.
• Check your roster first. Burly Body also rolls on wild Pals like any common passive — a lucky catch saves you the tokens.
