What Diamond Body Does

Diamond Body is the top of the standard defensive ladder: Defense +30% plus flinch and knockback immunity. The immunities matter as much as the number — the Pal can't be staggered out of attacks or shoved around by heavy hits, which keeps its damage output flowing in boss fights. Below it sit Burly Body (+20%, flinch only) and Heavyweight (+20%, knockback only); above it, only the conditional World Tree tank passive Sanctified Meat Shield .

It's the classic pairing for glass-cannon passives like Twin-Edged Holy Blade , cancelling most of the defense loss in one slot.

How to Get It

There are two routes. It occasionally rolls on wild Pals, but as a rare-weight passive it's roughly 20× less likely than a common one. The reliable route is Disposable Implant: Diamond Body , applied at the Pal Surgery Table — the surgery is free, but the implant is consumed.

The implant comes from the Ancient Relic Recycler : every recycled Ancient Relic of any grade rolls one disposable implant from a 16-implant pool, so Diamond Body lands at 6.25% per recycle. Spend it only on a finished Pal. See the Ancient Relics guide and the implants guide for details.
