What This Implant Unlocks

Implant: Vanguard is a permanent unlock. It lives in your Key Items — it can't be dropped, sold, or consumed — and as long as you own it, Vanguard can be applied to any Pal at the Pal Surgery Table . Each surgery costs 50,000 gold, but the implant itself never runs out: buy once, apply forever.

Vanguard is a trainer passive: it boosts your attack by 10% — the Pal carrying it gains nothing itself, and the effect works from inside the Pal Sphere as long as the carrier is in your five-slot party. Community testing indicates copies on multiple party members stack, and that's exactly why this implant matters: once unlocked, you can put Vanguard on every party member for a serious weapon buff in boss fights. Its defensive twin is Stronghold Strategist .

Where to Buy It

The bounty merchant sells this implant for 15 Successful Bounty Tokens as a one-time purchase. Successful Bounty Tokens are earned by defeating bounty targets and turning the proof in to a Vigilante Bounty Officer in villages and towns. Tips

• Best value for gun players. If you do your own damage with firearms and rocket launchers, a full Vanguard party is one of the strongest uses of the surgery table — budget 50,000 gold per member.
• Check your roster first. Vanguard also rolls on wild Pals like any common passive — a lucky catch saves you the tokens.
