What Vanguard Does

Vanguard is a trainer passive: it boosts your attack by 10% — the Pal itself gains nothing. Like all trainer passives it works from inside the Pal Sphere; the carrier just has to be in your five-slot party. Community testing indicates copies on multiple party members stack, so a full Vanguard party is a serious weapon buff for boss fights.

How to Get It

Buy Implant: Vanguard from the bounty merchant for 15 Successful Bounty Tokens, earned by defeating bounty targets and turning proof in to a Vigilante Bounty Officer. The implant is a key item — one purchase unlocks Vanguard at the Pal Surgery Table forever, at 50,000 gold per surgery. It also rolls on wild Pals like any common passive.
