What Twin-Edged Holy Blade Does

Twin-Edged Holy Blade is the biggest raw attack passive in the game — a rank 5 glass-cannon slot:

  • Attack +50% — ahead of Demon God (+30%), Musclehead (+30%), and Ferocious (+20%).
  • Defense -30% — the glass-cannon tax, and the reason it needs a build around it.
  • World Tree harvestables won't vanish when approached — the shared World Tree effect, covering both the Pal and its trainer.

How to Get It

No Pal has Twin-Edged Holy Blade by default, and it isn't in the normal wild-passive pool — it's one of the seven World Tree exclusive passives. There are two ways to get it:

  • Wild World Tree Pals. Pals that spawn inside the World Tree can randomly roll World Tree exclusive passives, Twin-Edged Holy Blade among them. It's a lucky find rather than a farmable source, but check the passives of anything you catch there. Yakumo's Birds of a Feather partner skill can't speed this up — it only boosts passives from the regular wild pool, which excludes all World Tree passives.
  • The disposable implant. Disposable Implant: Twin-Edged Holy Blade teaches Twin-Edged Holy Blade at the Pal Surgery Table — the surgery itself is free, but the implant is consumed.

The implant comes from the Ancient Relic Recycler : every recycle of an Ancient Relic — any grade, including cheap Decayed ones — rolls exactly one disposable implant from a 16-implant pool, so Twin-Edged Holy Blade lands at 6.25% per recycle. And since the implant is one-and-done, finish breeding, rank-ups, and IVs before you spend it. See the Ancient Relics guide for the full reward tables, the implants guide for how surgery works, and the best passive skills guide for how it fits a four-slot build.

Tips

  • The maximum attack stack. Twin-Edged Holy Blade + Demon God + Musclehead + Ferocious totals +130% attack — Musclehead's work speed penalty is irrelevant on a Pal that only fights.
  • Or patch the defense hole. Diamond Body (+30% defense, plus flinch and knockback immunity) all but cancels the penalty while keeping most of the offense — the classic pairing for Pals that take hits.
  • Twin-Edged vs. God of Destruction. God of Destruction trades 10% of the attack for +20% defense and half your max HP. Twin-Edged Holy Blade is the safer pick for Pals that actually get hit; God of Destruction pulls ahead only on ranged Pals that avoid damage entirely.
No pals have this passive skill by default.
