What God of Destruction Does

God of Destruction packs the biggest combined offense-and-defense boost in the game into one rank 5 slot — priced in health:

  • Attack +40% and Defense +20% — no other single passive raises both this far; Legend (+20%/+20%) is the closest.
  • Max HP -50% — half the health bar, the defining drawback.
  • World Tree harvestables won't vanish when approached — the shared World Tree effect, covering both the Pal and its trainer.

How to Get It

No Pal has God of Destruction by default, and it isn't in the normal wild-passive pool — it's one of the seven World Tree exclusive passives. There are two ways to get it:

  • Wild World Tree Pals. Pals that spawn inside the World Tree can randomly roll World Tree exclusive passives, God of Destruction among them. It's a lucky find rather than a farmable source, but check the passives of anything you catch there. Yakumo's Birds of a Feather partner skill can't speed this up — it only boosts passives from the regular wild pool, which excludes all World Tree passives.
  • The disposable implant. Disposable Implant: God of Destruction teaches God of Destruction at the Pal Surgery Table — the surgery itself is free, but the implant is consumed.

The implant comes from the Ancient Relic Recycler : every recycle of an Ancient Relic — any grade, including cheap Decayed ones — rolls exactly one disposable implant from a 16-implant pool, so God of Destruction lands at 6.25% per recycle. And since the implant is one-and-done, finish breeding, rank-ups, and IVs before you spend it. See the Ancient Relics guide for the full reward tables, the implants guide for how surgery works, and the best passive skills guide for how it fits a four-slot build.

Tips

  • Ranged Pals only. The +20% defense does not compensate for half the HP pool on a front-liner — this passive belongs on Pals that fight from a distance and rarely get hit.
  • Sustain the smaller pool. Immortality (life steal plus regeneration) and Vampiric refill a halved HP bar quickly, which softens the drawback considerably.
  • God of Destruction vs. Twin-Edged Holy Blade. Twin-Edged Holy Blade hits harder (+50% attack) and keeps your full HP, at -30% defense. Running both totals +90% attack — spectacular damage on paper, but at half HP and net -10% defense it's a build for Pals that never get touched.
No pals have this passive skill by default.
