What Starfruit ☆1 Does

A consumable that raises a Pal's star rank from ☆0 to ☆1 instantly — the same result as feeding 4 duplicates into the Pal Essence Condenser, with no duplicates needed. It only works on a ☆0 Pal; each rank has its own fruit ( ☆2 , ☆3 , ☆4 ), while Ripe Starfruit works at any rank.

How to Get One

• Medal Merchant — 50 Dog Coins , unlimited stock. The cheapest fruit in the lineup; the full ☆1–☆4 set costs 750 Dog Coins.
• Ancient Relic Recycler. Every Ancient Relic you recycle grants three rolls on the recycler's jackpot pool, and each roll has about a 2.7% chance of a Starfruit ☆1 (~8% per relic; the odds are identical for every relic grade). See the Ancient Relics guide.
• Pal Critic reward (one-time). Completing the Pal Critic request to show off a Sekhmet awards a single Starfruit ☆1.

Tips

• ☆0 → ☆1 is the cheapest condenser step — only 4 duplicates. If the Pal is easy to breed or catch, condense this star and spend your fruits (and Dog Coins) on the later, more expensive ranks instead.
• Starfruit shine on Pals you can't mass-produce: rare passive carriers you'd rather not re-breed, and above all the unbreedable Panthalus and Astralym, which can never produce condenser fodder at a Breeding Farm.
