What the Yakumo Effigy Does

A statuette of Yakumo, added at the game's v1.0 launch, and one of the three rare effigies. Offered at the Statue of Power, it enhances Rainbow Fortune — a hidden luck stat that raises the chance of wild Pals spawning with better passive skills. The track has 4 ranks at 1 effigy each: +1%, +2%, +3%, then +4% at rank 4. Small numbers, but they apply to every wild Pal you ever encounter, for the rest of the game.

Only Four Exist

Exactly 4 Yakumo Effigies are placed in the entire world — as many as the track needs, no spares. Two are in the overworld, at the Crystalized Ancient Tree and in the Loess Plains of Terraria; the other two are inside the World Tree. Exact spots are pinned on the interactive world map — toggle the Yakumo Effigy layer on each map.

Tips

  • Rank it before long capture grinds. Rainbow Fortune only rolls when a wild Pal spawns, so it pays off across volume — hunting for the passives worth keeping is exactly when +4% compounds.
  • Grab the World Tree pair while collecting the tree's Cattiva and Lifmunk effigies in one run.
  • The other two rare effigies: the Lunaris Effigy (sphere homing) and the Relaxaurus Effigy (+50% EXP).

Not to be confused with the Yakumo Statue, the buildable decorative guardian-dog statue — that one is pure atmosphere. For every effigy type, rank tables, and enhancement priorities, see the full Effigies guide.
