"Uninvited Guest" — each with a price on their head. Defeat one and it drops
Successful Bounty Tokens
, a currency you can trade to the
Vigilante Bounty Officer for gold, exclusive implants, stat fruits, and the coveted
Ripe Starfruit
. This guide lists every bounty target with
its level, exact coordinates, token payout, and side loot, plus the officer's full price list and what to spend
your first tokens on.
How bounty hunting works
Bounty targets are named human criminals that stand guard at fixed spots in the world, usually with a small camp or a couple of underlings. Each one has a wanted epithet, a fixed level between 10 and 59, and a guaranteed Successful Bounty Token payout when defeated. They behave like field bosses: defeat one and it respawns after a while, so every target can be farmed repeatedly — there is no once-per-save limit on tokens.
Attacking a bounty target does not make you "wanted" the way attacking villagers or PIDF guards does — they are criminals, and taking them down is the intended gameplay. Like other humans they can technically be caught with spheres, but the game applies a heavy capture-rate penalty to bosses (a 0.1 multiplier in the character data), and you only collect the bounty loot from a defeat, so fighting is the way to go.
The Successful Bounty Token
The
Successful Bounty Token
is the proof of a completed
bounty. Every target drops its tokens at a 100% rate, and the payout scales with the target's
level:
| Target level | Tokens per defeat | Targets |
|---|---|---|
| 10 – 28 | 1 (Grill pays 2) | 13 |
| 30 – 41 | 2 | 7 |
| 42 – 53 | 3 | 6 |
| 56 – 59 | 4 – 5 (one pays nothing — see below) | 7 |
Don't confuse these with the per-Pal Bounty Tokens ("Anubis Bounty Token" and friends) that Alpha Pals award on their first defeat — those are key items with hidden party-wide buffs and can't be spent anywhere. Our bounty tokens guide decodes every one of them.
Seeing bigger payouts than this table? Token drops obey the "Amount of Dropped Items by Enemies" world setting like any other enemy loot: the Easy preset doubles them, a custom world at the 3× cap turns Ram's 5 tokens into 15, and Hard halves them. The numbers here are the 1× base values from the game's drop tables.
Do not sell tokens to a regular merchant — their sell price is a laughable 10 gold. The Bounty Officer will give you 2,000 gold per token instead, a 200× better rate, and everything else on the exchange list is worth more than the gold anyway. Clearing every target on the board once is worth 71 tokens.

What to buy first
-
The seven exclusive implants (15 tokens each, 105 total). These permanent implants —
including
Implant: Artisan
and
Implant: Musclehead
— unlock their passive skills
forever at the Pal Surgery Table and are sold only here. They are the single best long-term use of
your tokens; see the
implants guide
for what each one does.
-
Ripe Starfruit
(50 tokens, unlimited).
Raises a Pal's star rank by one without feeding duplicates into the Pal Essence Condenser — the only
renewable way to rank up a Pal you can't easily breed. At 50 tokens it is the exchange's big repeatable
money sink for endgame hunters.
-
Pal Reverser
(7 tokens, unlimited).
Flips a Pal's gender at the surgery table — a lifesaver when your perfect breeding parents came out the same
gender. Pairs well with the
breeding guide.
-
Stat fruits (25 tokens each, unlimited).
Life Fruit
,
Power Fruit
, and
Stout Fruit
permanently boost a single Pal's stats and are
otherwise rare finds.
- Gold (1 token → 2,000 gold). Only once you've cleared the list above — but as an unlimited conversion it turns bounty farming into a respectable money-making loop.
Efficient token farming
Once you can handle level 55+ fights, the endgame board is where the tokens are. The six paying targets at level
56–59 sit in the same region of the map and are worth 25 tokens per circuit:
Dazzle,
Billy,
Gnaw,
Ram,
Mimic, and
Cache. Ram is the single most valuable bounty in the game — 5 tokens plus a guaranteed
Gold Key
and 500–1,000 gold on every kill, all a short flight
from his neighbors.
Earlier in the game, the level 42–53 spread pays 3 tokens per head, and Whisk, Fumble, and Urchin all have a
small chance to drop a
Silver Key
on top. Below level 30, treat
tokens as a bonus while exploring rather than a farm — most targets pay a single token.
Bounty board oddities
- Pinch pays nothing. The level 57 "Serial Borrower" is the only bounty target with a completely empty drop table — no tokens, no gold, nothing. Fitting for a man who never pays anyone back. Skip him on farming runs.
- The Twin Bombers share one bounty. Dyna and Mite spawn side by side at (349, −6) and (348, −2) under the same "Twin Bombers" epithet — two defeats, two tokens, one stop.
- Turncoat, the "Bounty Hunter Hunter". The level 15 target near the starting area is wanted for hunting bounty hunters. Hunt accordingly.
